Eikón Imago

Founded in March 2012 by Dr. José María Salvador González, Eikón Imago (ISSN: 2254-8718) is an annual scientific journal (formerly biannual) edited by the Research Group CAPIRE (Collective for the Pluridisciplinary Analysis of the European Religious   Iconography), attached to the Department of Art History of the School of Geography and History at the Complutense University of Madrid. The research interest of this journal focuses on iconography in a broad sense, with a thematic coverage thatincludes the forms and meanings of images of any era, culture or country, as well as any thematic, typological or disciplinary variant of iconography: religious, mythological, political, musical, fantastic, animalistic or other. Its sections are: "Monographic theme", "Miscellany" and "Reviews".

Eikón Imago does not charge the authors any fee for the submission / evaluation of their manuscripts nor fees for the publication of their articles, nor for inclusion of color images or for any other element required to complete the process of publication of articles.
